In front of literally a standing-room-only crowd at the Municipal Courtroom, the Blytheville City Council raised wastewater rates $5 a month Tuesday night to pay for required improvements to the sewer system. Lifeblood officials say needs still high

More than 100,000 pints of blood are needed annually for persons in area hospitals, said Dick Benson, area representative for Lifeblood.
