Blytheville Police Dept. announces promotions

The Blytheville Police Department promoted several officers April 29. Lt. Tim Bentley, with 20 years of service to the department, was promoted to the rank of captain, where he will lead the Patrol Division of the Police Department. Capt. Bentley will oversee the day-to-day operations of the division, including all responses to crime, criminal reports, arrests and accidents. Bentley has headed up the Blytheville Police Department Special Response Team for the last several years as well...
