Bill Marshall
Bill Marshall, 86, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at his home.
Bill was born in Moark, Arkansas to James and Anna Elder Marshall. He was a retired railroad engineer with St. Louis Terminal and Chicago Northwestern. Bill was a Mason and a Shriner, the past Master of Maplewood Lodge #264 and was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a history buff and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Marshall; son-in-law, Bob Duggin; great- grandson, Brian Minear; two sisters, Bonnie Siar and Lola Jines; and one brother, James Marshall.
Bill leaves two children, Rev. John Marshall and his wife Elizabeth of Grant Park, Illinois and Judy Duggin of Gosnell; six grandchildren, Brenda Thompson, Tammy Langley, Bobbie Fikes, Robbie Duggin, Jeremy Marshall and Justin Marshall; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 19th at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Marshall and Rev. Jerome Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
