Mr. Harold Lewis

Mr. Harold Lewis, 64, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at his home.

Harold was born to Harold, Sr. and Juanita Lewis in Blytheville. He retired from Nucor after 25 years of service and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Harold was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting deer and ducks, fishing, gardening, and spending time at his place in Greers Ferry. Although Harold loved the outdoors, he loved cooking even more. He loved grilling and cooking for all of his friends, family, and co-workers, and he also cooked for Nucor’s Relay for Life team. He loved his family and spent time hunting with his sons and eating ice cream with his grandchildren. Harold also loved his white lab, Angel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and godparents, Buddy and Jean Layton.

Harold leaves his wife, Damona Lewis of the home; three children, Angela Lewis of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, Chance Hoskins (Tiffany) of Dell, and Chase Hoskins (Whitney) of Centerton, Arkansas; one sister, Antionette Pearl of Graham, North Carolina and three grandchildren, Blake and Bren Hoskins and Ryder Harrison.

The Lewis family would like to thank Sherry, April, Tuqwela, Brittaney, and Pastor Al from Legacy Hospice and let them know that they hold a special place in their hearts.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 11 at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Hyde officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Bethany Baptist Church.
