Mary Ralph

Mary Agnes Peeples Ralph, 88, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Church Street Manor in Ecru. She was born May 12, 1928, in Mississippi County, Arkansas, to Wilbur Calvin Peeples and Ona Mae Pruitt Peeples. She graduated from high school in Armorel, Arkansas, and began work as a telephone operator in Blytheville, Arkansas, soon after. She later transferred to St. Louis, then worked at Western Electric in Chicago. She married Harvey Ralph in 1965. Mary moved to Pontotoc, Miss. to be nearer to family members. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Pontotoc.


Mrs. Ralph was preceded in death by: her parents and brother-J.W. Peeples and an infant brother.

Mrs. Ralph leaves two brothers, Ray Peeples (Kathryn) and Bill Peeples (Jean);

One sister, Bonnie Sengpiehl (Phillip) all of Pontotoc; and

Serveral nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial will be at 3PM, Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery, Blytheville, Arkansas. Visitation will be Monday, June 6, 2016 6-8PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, MS. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
