Roy W. Thigpen Jr.

Roy W. Thigpen Jr., 68, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015.

Roy was a graduate of Lane College and an Army veteran, serving his country during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kenya Thigpen.

Roy is survived by his wife, Patricia Thigpen;

A daughter, Stacey Thigpen;

Two sons, Roy J. Thigpen and Eric Greene, both of Blytheville; and

Several grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 3815 Hawkins Mill Road in Memphis. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.
