The Camp Roberts Historical Museum Foundation recently announced that while “the world is currently observing the 100th Anniversary of World War I… the 100th anniversary of the day that Corporal Harold W. Roberts [the army corporal for whom Camp Roberts is named] gave his life to save a crewmate, is ten months off,” they are searching desperately for the Congressional Medal of Honor that he was awarded and that was given to his father in San Francisco, Calif. in 1919. The last place that it was seen was in Blytheville.
