Autumn arrived on Friday and all of those green leaves will be turning to beautiful, bright colors. Sadly, they will not stay on the trees for very long. They will fall off and it seems like they all end up in my yard. Raking leaves is a difficult task for me. It is one chore that always makes my back hurt. Leachville thefts under investigation

Leachville had a string of thefts in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Sept. 20. According to Police Chief Alan Austin, nine reports of items being stolen from vehicles were reported. Items such as keys, purses, wallets and more were taken. Chief Austin said some had security cameras but due to the angles or direction, they did not get a good picture of the suspects.
