BNSF lays new railroad ties

By Mark Baratelli NEA Town Courier BNSF Railway will be replacing all the old wooden railroad ties from downtown Blytheville all the way to Hayti, according to an employee of the company who spoke with the Town Courier April 20. Completion of the project is expected in August. The company will be removing all the concrete panels in between the tracks at Main Street that enable car traffic to get over them.
