Report: Individual pointed gun at school bus with children aboard

Jones found guilty of second-degree murder

After a lengthy four-day trial and 23 witnesses were called by both the prosecution and the defense, 27-year-old Alan Curtis Jones of Arbyrd, Mo., has been found guilty of the murder of 55-year old Mike Wallace of Monette. I-55 accident claims one life

According to Sergeant Clark Parrott of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an accident occurred Friday on I-55 in Pemiscot County, near the 1-mile marker just north of the Arkansas state line that involved a pedestrian and a “commercial vehicle.” No details were released regarding the accident and the name of the deceased has yet to be publically released because the next of kin has yet to be notified.
