Court upholds manslaughter conviction

Last week, the Arkansas Court of Appeals affirmed Charles Campbell, Jr.’s manslaughter conviction in the February 2015 death of his roommate, Rodney Lutes. On June 23, 2016, the 54-year-old Campbell was sentenced to 10 years and the jury also imposed a 15-year enhancement sentence for the use of a firearm. They are consecutive sentences.
