Grants aiding local industries

Two Blytheville-area industries have received sizable grants to assist them in expansion and further job creation, said Clif Chitwood, the economic developer for Mississippi County. Aviation Repair Technologies, located at the Arkansas Aeroplex, is receiving $1.2 million from the Economic Development Administration to fund repairs to two buildings that will expand the company's capabilities.
