School board OKs appointments

In a special meeting Monday evening, members of the Blytheville School Board appointed several new employees and accepted the retirements and resignations of many others. The newly appointed employees include Chanda Walker, principal of Central Elementary School; Dee Keiter, principal of Blytheville Intermediate School; Amy Bailey, first grade; Yolanda Daniel, at-large teacher at BIS; Rita Lovins, literacy teacher at Blytheville Middle School; Danna Mattingly, first grade; Marie Neal, fifth-grade literacy; Dana Stanfill, sixth-grade math; and Amanda Atwill, nurse at Blytheville Kindergarten Center and Blytheville Primary School.. ...

Junior BLI grads honored at luncheon

This month's luncheon of the Greater Blytheville Area Chamber of Commerce featured the graduates of the Chamber's Junior Blytheville Leadership Class.
