Mrs. Ruby Jean Williams, 64, of Osceola, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, in Osceola. Born Nov. 15, 1948, in Osceola, she was a homemaker and a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Garfield Cannon Sr. and L.V. Cannon; her husband, Cornelius Williams; one daughter, Debbie Hooks; one sister, Mary Palmer; and three brothers, Garfield Cannon Jr., Joe Willie Cannon and Robert T. Cannon.

Mrs. Williams leaves two daughters, Teresa (and Carlos) Moore Nolan, and Connie (and Judge) Thompson, all of Osceola;

One son, Ronnie Williams of Osceola;

Six sisters, Dorothy Cannon, Freddie Mae Cannon, Corine McCadney, Lovell Wilson, and Loistine Cannon, all of Osceola, and Jessie Mae Gilton of Jonesboro;

Three brothers, Larry Cannon of San Antonio, Eugene Cannon of Osceola, and Bennie Lee Cannon of Blytheville; and

Eleven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services, officiated by Elder Johnny Moore, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at Promiseland Church of God in Christ in Osceola. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery.
