Mary Killingsworth

Mrs. Mary Killingsworth, 86, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at her home. Born in Alamo, Tenn., to Isham Arthur and Elsie Mae Goodman Brown, she was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved being with her family. She was a member of Clear Lake Baptist Church.

Mrs. Killingsworth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arlin "Pancho" Killingsworth; and several brothers and sisters.

She leaves her children, James Killingsworth of Keiser, Teresa Skinner of Miami, Fla., Elsie Retzer of Red Bud, Ill., Patricia Smith and her husband, Raymond, of Osceola, and Cindy Platt and her husband, Mike, of Blytheville;

Two adopted daughters, Ann Stockman and Judy Green of Blytheville;

One adopted daughter/granddaughter, Melissa Barnes and husband, Teddy, of Blytheville;

Two sisters, Alice Lents and her husband, Doris, of Alamo, and Marie Jones of McKenzie, Tenn.; and

Twenty-six grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.

A special thanks goes to Mike Platt, Tabitha Platt, James Platt, Melissa Barnes and the whole family at Clear Lake Baptist Church for all of their help and prayers and for being there for Mrs. Killingsworth.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Duhon officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
