Cheryl Darlene Shepperson

Cheryl Darlene Shepperson, 67, of Luxora died December 16, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

She was a retired factory worker, retired babysitter and of the Baptist faith.

Ms. Shepperson was born September 16, 1951 in Rosedale, MS to James and Virgie Chapman Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David Shepperson, four brothers David Cook, Robert "Popeye" Cook, Leroy Cook and Charles "Dobber" Cook, four sisters Gail Rippe, Helen Russ, Georgia "Punk" Yon and Suzie Cox and one great grandchild Colbie Shepperson-Daniel.

She is survived by three daughters Teresa (Kenneth) Melvin, Brenda Shepperson and Terry (Shane) Taylor of Luxora, two brothers John "Cooter" Cook and Jimmy (Dorothy) Cook of Osceola, one sister Jo Marie Watson of St. Louis, seven grandchildren Shawna Lasater, Jeremy Cunningham, David Melvin, Tyler White, Taylor Spears, David Shepperson II and Blake Hamilton, ten great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral is Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola, with Bro. Allen Barron officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
