Martha Dale Dixon Regenold

Martha Dale Dixon Regenold (Mrs. John Ed), passed away peacefully in her home Wednesday, October 31, 2018.

Mrs. Regenold graduated from Blytheville High School and went on to attend the University of Arkansas where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Mott, as she was known to her family and friends, married the love of her life John Ed Regenold on December 27, 1951.

A lifelong resident of Blytheville, Mott was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Blytheville Junior Auxiliary, the Northeast Arkansas Cotton Wives Association, chairman of the renovation committee for the Blytheville County Club and Chapter D PEO, where she served as president.

Mrs. Regenold spread beauty and grace to all who knew her well. Her lovely home was the setting of many memorable luncheons, teas, parties and fundraisers. She will be missed by the community that she loved dearly.

Mrs. Regenold leaves her husband of 66 years, John Ed of the home; her children, Dixie Regenold, Dale Regenold, Edward Regenold and Leigh Regenold Clower; her grandchildren, Dr. Catherine Hubbard Adams, Elizabeth Hubbard, Marshall Hubbard, Olivia Bunch Upton, Victoria Bunch Fergus, Rosalynn Bunch Jesse, Alexandra Regenold, Will Clower and Evan Clower; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3rd at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Zach Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church of Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.
