Pastor Charlie Lloyd Donnerson, Sr.

Pastor Charlie Lloyd Donnerson, Sr. of Blytheville was born September 10, 1943 in Marion to the late Henry Donnerson and the late Frankey Robinson Donnerson.

He was a lifetime resident of Blytheville, the pastor for St. Luke Gospel Deliverance Ministry for the past 35 years, a member of the Mighty Blytheville Aires and served the community setting up a feeding ministry that has run for over 25 years.

Pastor Donnerson passed away on October 25, 2018 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 75. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, one grandson and his brothers Henry Donnerson and Jessie Donnerson.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Howard Donnerson, three sons Charlie (Sharie) Donnerson, Jr. of Gosnell, Shawn Donnerson of Blytheville, Mario (Keshia) Donnerson of Jonesboro, and Anthony (Ebony) Howard of Horn Lake, MS, one daughter Kimberly Howard of Horn Lake, MS, four sisters Ruby Patton of Gosnell, LeLar (Eddie) Cole of Atlus, OK, Frankie Donnerson of Dallas, TX and Earlean Clardy of Blytheville, twenty grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The visitation will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church in Blytheville, with the funeral immediately following. Rev. Theodis Rucker will be officiating. The burial will be held at Marion Memorial Gardens in Marion. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
