Lula Bell Quearry

Lula Bell Quearry, 80, of Blytheville, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 Gosnell Therapy and Living Center.

Lula was born in Balch, Arkansas to Mid and Nora Moore and was a member of Main and 13th Church of Christ. She worked as an aide in the Blytheville School System, a sales clerk at Montgomery Ward and a Deli Clerk at Kroger. Lula enjoyed writing songs and playing cards and dominoes. She loved to be outdoors fishing, hunting for arrow heads, watching the birds or putting together beautiful flower gardens. Lula loved her grandchildren and spending time with each of them.

She was preceded in death by her husband Warner Quearry, Jr.; her parents; and three sisters, Dessie Crabtree, Retta Van Grober and Nina Moore.

Lula leaves four sons, Michael Quearry and his wife Jan of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Warren Quearry of Blytheville, David Quearry and his wife Susan of Blytheville and Danny Quearry and his wife Melissa of Gosnell; four sisters, Marcille Sorenson of Green River, Wyoming, Maxine Roberson of Barstow, California, Carel Fierro of Victoria, Texas and Diane Harris of Barstow, California; 12 grandchildren, Mark Quearry and his wife Cassandra, Justin Quearry, Ryan Quearry, Tyler Quearry, Devin Quearry and his fiancé Lindsey Killough, Anna Beth Smith and her husband Bo, Kenzy Quearry, Sarah Payne and her husband Chad, Eric Grehl and his wife Laura, Cristina Sellers, Kelly Sellers and Megan Sellers; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2nd at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Greg Groves and Dr. Eddie Clemons officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
