Anita Jean Pugh Walker

Anita Jean Pugh Walker, 59, passed on Friday September 21, 2018 in Blytheville after a long battle of illness. Anita was born on April 3, 1959 in Osceola to Frank and Pendora Pugh. She was a Blytheville High School graduate of the Class of 77 with some college training. She prepared taxes for Jackson Hewitt. She was a devoted member of New Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children: Shamika Pugh of Blytheville and Brandon Tyler of Jonesboro; 2 granddaughters: Aniesha Evans of Atlanta, Georgia and Jatavia Tyler of Blytheville; 6 Brothers: Frank Pugh, Jr. of Chicago, Illinois, Bobby Pugh of Blytheville, Larry Pugh of Chicago, Illinois, Robert Pugh of St. Paul, Minnesota, Thomas Pugh Sr. of Blytheville and Eddie Pugh of Blytheville.

4 Sisters: Carolyn Thompson of Tallahassee, Florida, DiAhn Pugh-Greenberry of Atlanta, Georgia, Pamela Pugh-Dillard of Blytheville, and Brenda Pugh-Anderson of Huntsville, Alabama. A special companion Andrew Knox. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, coworkers, and caregivers.

Funeral services for Ms. Anita Pugh Walker consist of Wake Service Friday, September 28, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at New Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist. Funeral service is Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at New Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Doug Echols Sr. is Senior Pastor.
