Willie Elbert Wells, 72, of Blytheville passed away Wednesday April 25, 2018 at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born September 13, 1945 in Armorel to Willie and Lula Lewis Wells. Willie was a self-employed businessman and was a member of New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Jerry Wells, and a sister Paulette Wells Hodges-Walker.

Willie leaves to forever cherish his memories two daughters, Arlee “Lisa” Bass and Marilyn (Jerry) Tribble all of Blytheville; one son, Trevon Wells also of Blytheville; eight brothers, James (Barbara) Wells, Benny Wells, Jimmy (Karen) Wells, Cordell Wells, Charles (Debra) Wells, Billie Joe Wells, Johnny (Faye) Wells, and Danny Wells all of Blytheville; four sisters, Nancy (Curtis) Jackson of Blytheville, Mary Jane Wells of San Antonio; Linda (John) Tally of Little Rock; and Sharon Luster of Blytheville; two aunts, Mrs. Ella Sanders and Mrs. Annie Dunn, one uncle, Mr. Joseph Lewis, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 515 East Sawyer Street, Blytheville. Rev. Clark Phillips will deliver the eulogy with burial to follow at Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday May 5, 2018 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
