Bobby Ray Burch, 54, of Blytheville passed away at home on Saturday night. He was born in Memphis on September 15, 1964. Bobby graduated from Trumann High School and has been in the Blytheville area for many years.

His usual occupation was commercial construction. He was a foreman for Stracener Brothers for approximately six years before becoming disabled. He loved to work and was frustrated that he could no longer able to do the work he used to do.

Bobby loved his family. He and Sandra have been together for 16 years. She said, “He was a good husband and took very good care of me.” He loved all the grandchildren, but he spent more time with Adalyn Grace because she lived here. He was very proud of them all. He was a devoted son who looked after his parents to make sure their needs were met.

He also loved to hunt, fish, and grill out.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Wayne Richey.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sellers Burch, of Blytheville;

His mother, Jackie Richey, of Blytheville;

Three step-children who he called his own: Dana Kaulfurst of Blytheville, Amanda (Jason) Freeman of Killeen TX, and Michael (Chelsea) Kaulfurst of Nashville TN;

Six grandchildren: Caden Freeman, Carsyn Freeman, Cohen Freeman, Adalyn Grace Previtt, Ezra Kaulfurst, and Natalie Kaulfurst;

Mother-in-law; Virginia Sellers of Blytheville;

Sisters-in-law; Kathy Sellers, Lisa Holifield, and Lesa Dacus;

Brother-in-law; J.C. Holifield;

Special friends: Gene Bunn and Auburn “Midget” Hill;

And a host of other friends and family who will miss him.

Funeral services will be at Bethany Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 1st, at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Gary Hyde officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Carney Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.
