Marcus “Mark” Anthony VanDyke

Marcus “Mark” Anthony VanDyke was born July 2, 1955 in Cooter to Fronia Hatley VanDyke and the late R.L. VanDyke. He worked in System Contracting and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Gosnell. Mr. VanDyke passed away on April 21, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro. He is preceded in death by his father R.L. VanDyke, two sons Markus Anthony VanDyke, Jr. and Roger VanDyke, one sister Sherry Teresa Moore, and one brother Terry Lance VanDyke. He is survived by his mother Fronia VanDyke of Blytheville, his life companion Sandra Ham of Blytheville, and her children three sons Jimmy, Jeremiah and Matthew and one daughter Cathern, his ex-wife Jeannett VanDyke of Blytheville, four daughters Debra Erwin of Mena, Ark., Cynthia Marshall of Jacksonville, Ark., Phobie Rogers of Blytheville, and Elizabeth VanDyke of Brookland, four brothers Roger D. VanDyke of Blytheville, Jerry Vance VanDyke of Jonesboro, and David Randall VanDyke and Chris Abner VanDyke both of Blytheville. Eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The visitation will be held Thursday, April 26, 2018 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the funeral immediately following. Bro. Gary Hyde will be officiating. The burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
