D'Andrea Newman

D’Andrea Marie “Mary” Newman, 69, of El Lago, Texas, passed way Friday, March 16, 2018 at Spanish Meadows Nursing Home in Katy, Texas.

D’Andrea was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Edward and D’Andrea Schwartz and was of the Episcopal faith. She loved to read and loved her two cocker spaniels, Taffy and Cookie.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

D’Andrea leaves her husband, Franklin L. Newman of the home; two children, Laura Newman and Franklin E. Newman and his wife Chelsea, all of Houston, Texas; and one granddaughter, Dorthea Newman.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 23rd at 2:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ron Wilcoxson officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
