Steven Nicholas Smith-Hinton of Jonesboro, AR, formally of Blytheville, AR., was born October 19, 1989 to Stanley Edward Smith Sr. and Odessa Ann Hinton, in Blytheville, AR.

Steven confessed hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of New Immanuel M.B. Church under Pastor Burton Furlow. He was a 2008 graduate of Blytheville High School.

One Monday February 26, 2018, God saw fit to call his trooper home at the age of 28, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. Steven was preceded in death by his parents Stanley Edward Smith Sr. and Odessa Ann Hinton, his grandparents: Johnnie Hinton Jr. and Cleanest O. Hinton, Freddie Smith Sr., and Maggie D. Smith, his great-grand parents: Jesse Mae Boyd, Edna Branch, Rev. O.W. weaver, Clara Weaver, Johnnie Hinton Sr., and Fannie Hinton, one aunt Clara Hinton, three uncles: George Johnson, Willie Johnson and Eddie Johnson.

Steven, leaves to cherish his memories one brother, Stanley Edward Smith Jr. of Jonesboro, AR , one god-sister, Shallandra Freeman of Little Rock, AR, ten aunts, Fannie Mae(Clinton)Alexander and Johnnie Mae Smith, Both of Pontiac, MI, Mona Pruitt of Cleveland OH, Elder Mary (Thomas) Hayes of Munford, TN, Elect Lady Melissa (Pastor James) Hill, Pearline Smith, Minnie Mae Smith, Virginia Reel (Jerry), Doris Warren and Kathereen Paige, all of Blytheville, AR, three nephews, Kingstan Joshua Mikael Smith, of Steele, MO, Braylen Smith and Nolan Hardin both of Jonesboro, AR, three nieces, Shakiya Elaine Smith, Lakeya Aretha Sherrice Smith and Keri Melissa Jaye Smith and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 10, 2018 at 12:00 noon at New Immanuel M.B. Church, burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
