Billy Gene Gill, Sr.

Mr. Billy Gene Gill, Sr., 82, of Tyronza passed away December 11, 2017 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born April 17, 1935 to Will and Ruby Mae White Gill in Tyronza. He was a retired factory worker, farmer and a member of Barton Chapel Baptist Church in Heafer, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Gill of Tyronza; one son, Tim (Theresia) Gill of Jonesboro; two daughters, Tammie (Robbie) Crafton of Nettleton and Jeri (Steve) Horton of Cabot; one brother, Danny Gill of Turrell; three sisters, Betty Brown of Center Ridge, Ark., Lois Smith of Tyronza and Geneva McClellan of Gilmore, Ark.; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Billy Gill, Jr.; one brother, Willie Gill, Jr.; one sister, Josephine Burton; and two grandchildren, Jennifer Gill and Eric Lee Childers.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Barton Chapel Baptist Church in Heafer, Ark. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Barton Chapel Baptist Church in Heafer, Ark. with Bro. Kirk Martin officiating. Burial will be at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza.
