Jacqueline “Jackie” L. Baker

Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” L. Baker, 63, of Mammoth Spring and formerly of Dell, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at her home.

Jackie was born in Blytheville to Jack and Belle (Halford) Lewis. She was a registered nurse and a member of the Arkansas Nursing Association. Jackie was a former resident of Dell and a member of Dell Baptist Church. She was also a former member of Kiwanis Club. Jackie was an avid quilter and a member of the Mammoth Spring Quilt Club. For several years, she made a quilt to be raffled off by the Friends of the NRA. She also enjoyed canning homegrown fruits and vegetables.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Jackie leaves her husband, Bruce Baker of the home; her father, Jack Lewis of Mammoth Spring; two step-children, Dale Baker of Blytheville and Carrie Harmon and her husband Robert of Pine Hurst, North Carolina; two brothers, Randy Lewis and his wife Linda of Bryant, Arkansas and Ronnie Lewis and his wife Judy of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one sister, Gay Davis and her husband John of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; three grandchildren; and a lifelong friend, Karen Woodall of Springfield, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sunny Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
