Ms. Rhonda Gail Lucas

Ms. Rhonda Gail Lucas, 50, of West Point, Mississippi passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point, Mississippi.

Born in Osceola to James and Dian Lucas, Rhonda was a homemaker and a member of Grace Life Church. She was the former president of the Armorel PTA. Rhonda loved to sew and cross stitch, and everything she made was beautiful. She also loved to swim, go to water parks, and walk. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, New England Patriots fan, and Razorback fan. Rhonda was a friend to the friendless, she could love the unlovable, and could forgive the unforgivable. She had an infectious laugh and loved all of the family get-togethers and reunions. The love of her life and greatest joy was her son, Conrad. Everything in her life was centered around him.

Rhonda leaves her son, Conrad Thompson of Jonesboro; her parents, James and Dian Lucas of Jonesboro; brother, James Allen Lucas and his wife Heather of Louisville, Illinois; nephew, Gavin Lucas of Louisville, Illinois; niece, Chloe Rice and her husband Landon of Louisville, Illinois; and a host of family and friends too numerous to list by name.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 28 at 2 p.m. at Grace Life Church with Rev. Bill Bell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at Grace Life Church.
