Police investigating rash of vehicle break-ins

Blytheville police are investigating several vehicle break-ins reported Sunday.

According to police reports, officers responded to the 600 block of South Ridgeway where a vehicle was ransacked. It is unknown what was taken.

Officers investigated another vehicle break-in in that same block of South Ridgeway. Missing from the two vehicles were $1,000 and sunglasses.

Police also responded to the 1100 block of Golf Links where $100 and a watch was taken from a vehicle.

Thieves also broke into another vehicle in that block of Golf Links Sunday, taking a handgun.

Officers later responded to the 1800 block of North Broadway where a handgun was taken from a vehicle.
