Mr. John Edward Peterson

John passed away in his home in Round Rock, Texas on August 11, 2017. He was 62. He came into this world in Blytheville on July 13, 1955, to the late Joe Earl Peterson and Glady Elaine Nelson. John grew up in Blytheville, and joins his Brother, Billy and his parents in his eternal spiritual home.

John is survived by his spouse, Trey Xander; his brother, James; sister, Kathryn; beloved dog Louie; as well as aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

John's family will celebrate his life on Saturday, September 9, at an informal and intimate picnic to share their memories and each other’s company, which is how John wanted his passing to be memorialized. His ashes will be laid to rest thereafter.

John spent his professional life in human resources, working in the fields of telecommunications, executive search and national security - the latter at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico. He was always a gentle, caring and compassionate man, donating significant funds to Children's International, as well as many animal welfare organizations throughout his professional life.

John moved to Round Rock, Texas in 2010, where he lived the remainder of his life until his untimely passing. He was not alone, and had his spouse by his side when his spirit left this world. John will be remembered with love as someone who always gave everything he could to others, without ever expecting anything in return. His smile brightened every room, and his wry sense of humor brought joy to every occasion. He will be deeply missed.
