Debra Irene Ray Watkins

Mrs. Debra Irene Ray Watkins, 63, of Blytheville passed away on August 5, 2017 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Debra was born on February 9, 1954 to William Ray and Winnie Cannon Ray in Blytheville. She was a home health care worker by trade and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Manila.

Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her parents, William and Irene Ray; her husband, William Edward Watkins and two sisters, Mary Ellen Perrett and Betty Jo Ray Askue.

She is survived by three sons, Johnny (Cindy) Askue of Harrisburg, Michael (Carol) Askue of Blytheville, and Jason Watkins of Blytheville; one brother, Jack Ray of Dell; three sisters, Dorothy Crump of Blytheville, Diane Hudson of Caruthersville, Mo and Peggy Sherrill of Killeen, Texas; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Robert White officiating. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville.
