Mrs. Lee Esther Cook, 66 of Blytheville, passed away Thursday July 6, 2017 at the NEA hospital in Jonesboro. She was born April 3, 1951 to Cleveland and Rosie Lee Harvey in Blytheville. She was a retired factory worker and was a member of the St. Paul M.B. Church in Blytheville where she was overseer of the kitchen.

Lee Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Rosie Lee Harvey; her husband, Billy Cook; and three brothers, Oscar Shelly, Cleveland Harvey Jr. and Robert L. Harvey.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Shirley Tate of Decatur Ala., Wanda Garner of Jonesboro and Clarissa Watson of Blytheville; three brothers, John (Lula Speed) Harvey of Blytheville, Charlie Harvey of Blytheville and Walter (Christella) Harvey of Blytheville; six grandchildren, Shawynna Goss, Jasmine James, Rahkeem Franklin, Sharice Bell, Mikiya Watson, Alyssia Hopkins; eight great-grandchildren; four special friends, Norma Howell of Blytheville, Francis Brown of Fort Myers, Fla., Janice Shepherd of Blytheville and Leonia Jones of Blytheville; and a host of other friends and relatives.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday July 14, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. The Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday July 15, 2017 at the St. Paul M.B. Church in Blytheville, with Rev. Bennie Washington officiating. Interment will be at Memory Gardens in Blytheville. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville.
