Wilma Dell Carpenter

Mrs. Wilma Dell Carpenter passed away at her home in Gosnell at the age of 77. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the First Assembly of God in Steele, Missouri.

Ms. Carpenter was survived by three sons, Wayne (Susie) Carpenter of Etowah, Allie Carpenter of Gosnell and Jason (Jami) Carpenter of Lepanto; two daughters, Teresa (Jerry) Parsons of Gosnell and Tina (Brandon) Dollar of Paragould; one brothers, George Puttman of Lindale, Texas; two sisters, Linda (Mickey) Fortune of Lebanon, Tennessee and Brenda Hicks of Hughes Springs, Texas; one step-sister, Shirley (Robert) Johnson of Etowah; twenty grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelly Gill and Edna Earl Neely Puttman; her husband, Doyle Carpenter; one daughter, Reba Creecy; two brothers, Johnny and Bobby Gill and one sister, Joan Gill.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. The Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Bro. Mark White and Bro. Freddie Adams, officiating. Burial will be held at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
