Assessor says tax rate changes are coming soon

Mississippi County Assessor Harley Bradley announced this week that the state’s Assessment Coordination Department has recently completed a reassessment of land values as is custom every three to five years, so Mississippi County residents will see an increase in their property taxes. Additionally, residents of the Blytheville School District voted for a millage increase during the special election held on June 13. Therefore, residents living within the Blytheville School District will see a double increase.
