Avonne Marshall

Ms. Avonne Marshall was born January 5, 1960 in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Ella Lee Marshall and Curtis Stephenson.

Avonne worked as a teacher for the Blytheville Public School District.

She departed this life on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at her residence in Blytheville at the age of 57. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Avonne leaves to cherish her memories, one sister, Sarah Brown of Champaign, Ill.; one brother, Attone Marshall of Blytheville; two god daughters, Latosha Bores of Memphis, Tenn. and Chastity Bohannon of Chicago, Ill.; two aunts, Jewel (AD) Mosley of Oak Park, Ill. and Ada McDonald of Champaign, Ill.; three uncles, Billy Joe Marshall of Champaign, Ill. and Terry Marshall and Benny Marshall both of Blytheville; two devoted friends, Jenny Johnson and Carolyn Faulkner, both of Blytheville; five great nieces and nephews; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday June 09, 2017 at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday June 10, 2017 at God Holy Temple Church, with the burial following at Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
