Homer Meeks, Jr.

Mr. Homer Meeks, Jr. passed away on May 9, 2017 at his home in Blytheville. He was a factory worker for Viskase and a member of New Mt. Pleasant in Osceola.

Mr. Meeks is survived by six sons, Christopher (Jessie) Meeks of Chicago, Ill., Broderick and Daniel Meeks both of Blytheville, Aaron Meeks of Beaumont, Texas, Christian Meeks of Little Rock and Michael Meeks of Blytheville; one daughter, Tiffany Meeks of Blytheville; two brothers, Forrest Meeks and Cleveland Woodson; six sisters, Shirley A. Woodson, Bernice R. Christian, Ruby M. Marshall, Mary L. (AL) Williams, Gloria A. Meeks Hooks and Carolyn D. Meeks; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Meeks, Sr. and Mamie Tillmon Meeks; and one brother, James Meeks.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at New Mt. Pleasant in Osceola with Bishop Greg Brown officiating. The burial will be held at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
