Veronica Hodges pled guilty to manslaughter in the July 2016 stabbing death of 55-year-old Victor Beaugard.

Hodges received 10 years probation.

According to reports, Hodges called the Blytheville Police Department claiming that the victim had threatened to burn her house located at 3411 239 Spur.

"When officers arrived they found Beaugard laying in the driveway with stab wounds to the face and chest," Capt. Scott Adams said in a press release last July. "Hodges was taken into custody after she admitted to stabbing Beaugard."
