Weekend Police Reports

The following are reports from the Blytheville Police Department.

Friday, May 12

— Police investigated a commercial burglary at Klassi Kopies on North Broadway.

— Officers investigated a breaking and entering report at Bob’s Car Clean on North 6th.

— Police investigated a burglary at Blytheville High School on North 10th. Missing were two school-issued laptops, two cameras, a gym bag and headphones.

— Officers investigated an assault in the 800 block of East Rose.

— Police took a theft report (change purse) at Walmart.

— Police took a theft report (bicycle) in the 2200 block of Kenwood.

— Officers cited Mary Wells on shoplifting charges at Hays Grocer on West Moultrie.

— Police arrested Rodrick Beare, 37, on fleeing on foot and multiple warrants on Sawyer.

— Officers assisted on a fire investigation in the 100 block of South 16th.

— Police investigated a burglary in the 2300 block of West McHaney. The victim said the offender bleached her clothes, flipped upside down her bedroom set, flipped upside down and destroyed living room furniture, destroyed bathroom items, attempted to burn a towel on the stove, and threw flour throughout the residence on the walls and in the fish tank, killing the goldfish.

— Officers took a theft report ($500 cash and a social security card) in the 300 block of Walker.

— Police investigated a breaking and entering report in the 500 block of North 1st. A refrigerator and stove were reported missing.

— Police investigated a shooting in the 1100 block of Cherry. The victim said a black male shot at her, striking the passenger side of her vehicle and back window. Another victim also said his vehicle was shot once. A third victim noted her residence was struck by a bullet as well.

Saturday, May 13

— Police investigated a harassment report in the 1500 block of North Division.

— Police investigated a theft report (medicine) in the 1100 block of Willow.

— Police arrested Daryl Little, 35, on charges of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.

— Officers investigated a battery report in the 3700 block of Kacey Lane.

— Police arrested Taurus Crawford, 34, Brea Crawford, 23, and Erica Williams, 28, on charges of theft by receiving (a loaded firearm) following a traffic stop in the 400 block of East Main.

— Officers took a harassment report in the 500 block of North 11th.

— Police took a breaking and entering report in the 700 block of North 2nd. Several clothing items were reported missing.

— Officers took a criminal mischief report at Gentle Dental Place in the 500 block of Hutson. A window was broken and security camera damaged.

Sunday, May 14

— Officers arrested James Willis, 21, on three counts of aggravated assault in the 700 block of Clearlake. The victim said Williams pointed a gun at him, his wife and their child and threatened to kill them. Police said the handgun was a realistic-looking BB gun.

— Officers investigated a criminal mischief report in the 600 block of East Main. The front window was damaged.

— Officers investigated a theft report in the 900 block of North Franklin.

— Police arrested Johnny Higgins, 57, on possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) following a traffic stop on Perimeter Road.

— Police took a criminal trespass report in the 400 block of Madison.
