Dorothy Ann Gatewood

Ms. Dorothy Ann Gatewood, 75, of Luxora, passed away on May 4, 2017 in Monette. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Ms. Gatewood is survived by her two sons, Clifford Wayne Gatewood of Blytheville, Martin Kenneth (Linda) Gatewood of Luxora; three daughters, Deborah Gean (Todd) Blake of Osceola, Vickie Ann (Junior) Salomon of Manila and Patricia Lee Keeling of Gosnell; five brothers, Gary Brister of Newport, Ellis Brister of Jonesboro, Ronnie Brister of Batesville, Ricky Brister of Keiser and Donnie Brister of Osceola; five sisters, Francis Dunlap of Mammoth Springs, Penny Challis of Blytheville, Linda Carr of Jonesboro, Carolyn Horton and Lena Harrington both of Keiser; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Dewey and Mable Ruth Brister; her husband, Clifford Gatewood; one son, Timothy Dewayne Gatewood; one daughter, Angie Gatewood; three brothers, Dewey, Alfred and Billy Brister and one sister, Betty Martin.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. The funeral will be the following Monday, at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Rev. Keith Stokes officiating. The burial will be held at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
