Betty Sue Mauppins

Mrs. Betty Sue Mauppins, 76, of Wilson, passed away one March 27, 2017 in Memphis, Tennessee. She was self-employed at Mauppins Grocery in Wilson and a member of Nodena Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mauppins is survived by her husband, Billy Jack Mauppins, Sr. of Wilson; two daughters, Tammie Mauppins of West Memphis and Sherry Rider of Wilson; an adopted son, Bobby (Karen) Russ of Osceola; three brothers, Frank (Brenda) Bechel of Hernando, Miss., Charlie (Lora) Bechel of Malvern and Jerry (Nancy) Bechel of Eads, Tenn.; and one grandson, Bobby Horton of West Memphis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond George Bechel and Maggie Jones Bechel; one son, Billy Jack Mauppins, Jr.; three brothers, Joe, Ray and James Bechel.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with the funeral immediately following with Bro. Jason Glenn officiating. Burial will be held at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
