Dave Gray, Sr.

Mr. Dave Gray, Sr., 72, passed away at his home in Osceola on March 16, 2017. He worked on the City of Osceola Sanitation Department. Mr. Gray was a member of Bethlehem M.B. Church in Osceola, where he was in the men’s choir.

He is survived by his son Leon (Stephanie) Gray of Osceola; one daughter, Doris Ann Gray of Osceola; a brother, Ulas Gray of Rockford, Ill.; one sister, Bobbie (Bobby) Brown of Jonesboro and five grandchildren, Ceone and Japhanie Gray both of Jonesboro, Alvienna Spicer of Detroit, Mich. and Amanda and Patrice Jones both of Indianapolis, Ind.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ulas and Ceily Mae Wilson Gray, his wife, Dorothy Jean Gray and his son, Dave Gray, Jr.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Bethlehem M.B. Church in Osceola with Dr. Moses Black officiating. The burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
