Blytheville police arrest man wanted in Caruthersville murder

Blytheville police arrested a second suspect in connection with the recent homicide in Pemiscot County.

Police say they responded to the 1200 block of East Rose after receiving a tip from Pemiscot County investigators. Police found the suspect inside the home, talked him out and took him into custody without incident.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Clark Parrott identified the suspect as Anton Jones.

Earlier Monday, authorities arrested a Caruthersville man in the shooting that killed one and injured five others around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at Club Envy in Caruthersville.

The other suspect, Travis Ware II, is charged with first degree murder in the death of Freddie Rogers, Jr.
