Shirley Delores Johns Ramirez

Mrs. Shirley Delores Johns Ramirez, 75, of Paragould entered into the "Father's House" on December 9, 2016 at her residence. She fought a short time battle of cancer, but she has received her miracle of healing.

Shirley was born on April 19, 1941 at Leachville to Jennie Bell (Price) and Elvie James McDaniel.

Shirley was a faithful member of The Rock of Northeast Arkansas Church of God in Jonesboro. She loved her church and was the "Best Door Greeter" ever. She loved to greet you and give you a "Big Hug" - one you did not forget. She made you feel welcome and usually said something nice to you that you needed to hear.

She was a business owner of Shirley's Market in Tustin, California. The store listed as one of the most profitable stores in the area.

While in California, she attended The Upper Room Church of God. The pastor was Floyd Lawhon. She helped him with the missions program. She started a homeless ministry and would have rummage sales to purchase food and clothing for them. She would take them to Skid Row of L.A. where she would tell them about Jesus.

She later attended the Fountain Valley Church of God and every Tuesday she, along with many others, would fix a big breakfast for the homeless, offer them a shave and haircut, a shower and clothes. She won many souls to the Lord.

She took a trip to Israel and was baptized in the Jordan River.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers James Edward McDaniel and Sammy Franklin McDaniel and one sister Thelma Lee McConnell DeVore.
