Terrie Gaines

Ms. Terrie Gaines, 56, of Blytheville, passed away November 7, 2016 at Great River Medical Center.

Terrie was the Animal Control Officer for the City of Blytheville for 17 years. She was very dedicated to her job and loved what she did. She never met a stranger. Terrie had a big heart and a great love for animals. She was a member of the Blytheville Emergency Squad and member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gray and Helen (McCrary) Madison

Terrie is survived by her husband, David Gaines, of the home; step sons, David Marshall Gaines and his wife Johanna of Thomasville, Georgia and Martin Ira Gaines of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; brother, Chip Saggau of Phoenix, Arizona; half- brothers, Kent and Rob Saggau of Phoenix, Arizona and granddaughter, Alexis Cooksy and her husband Jordan.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 11th at 3:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Privett and Rev. Robert Cox officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude.
