Mr. John Allen Guyton, Jr., 56, of Blytheville, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the home. He was born on June 27, 1960, to Tallie Ann Rodgers of Blytheville and Lagoldia Ashford of East St. Louis, Ill. and to the late John Allen Guyton, Sr. and Bishop TJ Rodgers. He was also a commercial/residential builder.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Rodgers and Val Thomas Jr. and five sisters, Connie Jackson, Tracy Thomas, Lavern Jackson, Kathy Rodgers and Jerry Mae Taylor.

Mr. Guyton leaves his wife, Yvette Guyton of Blytheville;

Mother-in-law, Ocia Walker of Savannah, Ga.;

Five daughters, Shanel Cothran of Warner Robbins, Ga., Ivery Guyton of Jonesboro, Reil Green and Shaqueen Guyton both of Atlanta, Ga. and Johnia Guyton of Blytheville.

One goddaughter, Avery Jackson Riley of Blytheville;

Seven sons, Jamie Guyton of Mountain Home, Ind., Darius Hunt of Nashville, Tenn., Isavier Guyton of Kansas City, Mo., John Allen Guyton III of Walnut Ridge, Ark., La Tron Taylor, John Guyton and Johir Guyton all of Blytheville;

Fifteen sisters, Sylvia Thomas and Monica Thomas both of Houston, Texas, Pam Crockett of Chicago, Ill., Celia Thomas of Minneapolis, Minn., Mary Reeves of Tampa Fla., Dianna Moss, Darlene Webb, Hazel Mays, Margaree Jones, Tallie Anderson and Aretha Perry all of Blytheville, Johnnie Toney and Ethel Rodgers Marshall, both of Greenville, Miss., Barbara Mitchell of Irving, Texas and Linda Pomerlee of Mountain Home, Ind.;

Eight brothers, Jerry Guyton, Sr., Pastor Tim Rodgers and Charles Rodgers all of Blytheville, Michael Guyton and Marshall Guyton both of East St. Louis, Ill., Melvin Rodgers of Orlando, Fla., Larry Rodgers of Chicago, Ill. and Tim Thomas of Minneapolis, Mich.; and

Thirteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Prince of Peace Church in Blytheville. Burial will follow services at the Memory Gardens in Blytheville. Visitation and will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Prince of Peace Church.
