Mr. Denny Wilson, 89, of Blytheville, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Denny was born in Dell to Dewey and Julia (Jackson) Wilson, was a retired insurance salesman with Aetna Insurance and was a financial advisor. Denny served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during World War II and was a member of First Baptist Church, where Denny was a deacon in the church and loved working.

He liked to collect antiques as well as American Brilliant Cutglass, and gardening. Denny was a member of the Blytheville Lions Club and a former member of the Evening Lions Club and Gideons International.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Frances Garrison and Virginia Wilson.

Denny is survived by his wife, Maureen Hart Wilson, of the home; and

His daughter, Kay Wilson of Memphis.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 28th at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Don Childers officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time at First Baptist Church.
