James "Pee Wee" Stout, Jr.

Mr. James "Pee Wee" Stout, Jr., 78, of Blytheville passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at his home. He was born in Monroe, Ark., to the late James and Annie (Pitts) Stout. He was a retired bus driver and he loved the kids on his bus, even knowing them all by name. He was a member of the Cole Ridge Baptist Church. He loved his church and his church family. He also served his country in the United States Army. James was an avid sports fan; he enjoyed watching football and basketball. His favorite teams where the St. Louis Cardinals and the Blytheville Chickasaws football and basketball teams. James never missed a local chick game. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his brother John "Peanut "Stout" and sister Annie Margaret Hamilton.

James leaves his wife, Debra Crews Stout, of the home;

One son, Clint Daniel Stout of Jonesboro;

One sister, Mary Ann Rutledge of Longview, Texas; and

Special brother, Jerry (Cathy) Baker.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October, 20, 2016 at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Cobb Funeral Home.
