Mr. Jason Richard Thomas, 36, of Blytheville, passed away at his home on Monday, September 26, 2016. Born May 20, 1980 in Blytheville to Brian Richard Thomas and Sandra Marie Hammock, he loved being a paramedic and working in the healthcare profession.

He was a member of the Well Springs Church and was very respected by the elders and others. He was privileged to go to Africa last year on a mission trip.
He loved football and was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. He also enjoyed playing golf and liked all types of music and going to concerts, but the thing he loved most was spending time with his daughters. He truly loved his family and friends, who say " he was an all-around good guy."
Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Hammock, his grandmother Fleta Thomas and his grandfather William Hammock.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sandra (Danny) Hammock West of Luxora;

His father, Brian Richard Thomas (Connie) of California;

Three daughters, Madilyn, Hannah and Rozlyn Thomas, all of Blytheville;

One sister, Jaclyn (Chris) Lynn;

One stepson, Xavier Ward of Blytheville;

One stepsister, Christy (Gary) Cash of Little Rock;

His grandmother, Shirley Lovelady of Blytheville;

His grandfather, Richard Thomas of Hesperia, Calif.;

A special niece, Jalynn Hammock;

A special cousin, Cherly Harrison;

His ex-wife and the mother of his children, Kathrine Thomas;

His girlfriend, Rebecca Stults; and

Numerous cousins and other family members.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the Carney Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Carney Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon until service time.
