Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Williamson, 77, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at her home. Born in Blytheville to Andrew and Narmeize (Stokes) White, Beth graduated from Dell High School. Beth was retired from the Blytheville Airport Authority in Blytheville where she was the bookkeeper. Over the years, Beth was the bookkeeper at the Dell Compress, Federal Compress, Cotton Growers Gin, and Optus in Jonesboro. Beth was a member at Valley View Baptist Church in Jonesboro. She loved playing the piano while attending Beacon Baptist Church and Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Blytheville and Calvary Baptist Church in Jonesboro. She enjoyed cooking for her family and loved to play with her great-grandson, Luke. Beth also enjoyed watching hummingbirds and butterflies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Max Lee Williamson, Jr.

Beth leaves her husband of 60 years, Max Williamson of Jonesboro; children, Sheila Ann Smith and husband John of Cartersville, Georgia and Rita Lee Wilson and husband Chuck of Jonesboro; sisters, Patricia Hopper of Humboldt, Tennessee and Andra Kay Jones and husband Roy Junior Jones of Ash Flat, Arkansas; grandchildren, Scot Caldwell and Jennifer Bray and husband Coy; great-grandson, Luke; and many extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Dale Deavers, John Meredith, Rodney O'Neal, Kenneth "Ody" Oden, Tim Patterson, Jim Smith, Richard King, and Jeremy Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Junior Jones, Johnny Max Williamson, Greg Davis, and Charles Burge.

Funeral services are Wednesday, August 24th at 11:00 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David King officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. The family request memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
