Mr.Franklin Delano "Wimp" Kisner, 82, of Leachville, died Thursday June 23, 2016 at St. Benards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Leachville he was the son of the late Noah and Virgil Allen Kisner and was a 1952 graduate of Leachville High School. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, Frank later retired from Bethlehem Steel in Burns Harbor, Indiana. He lived many years in Lake Station, Indiana where he served on the Volunteer Fire Department before returning to Leachville upon his retirement in 1996.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Kisner in 2013, one son, Micheal Kisner, and one brother.

Mr. Kisner leaves his two sons, Jackie Kisner of Leachville and Dewayne Kisner of Lake Station, Indiana.

One daughter, Lori Hart of Portage, Indiana

Three brothers, John Kisner of Black Oak; Eriv Kisner of Leachville; and Charles Kisner of Little Rock.

Four sisters, Penny Johnson of Jonesboro; Charlotte Marlow of Indianapolis, Indiana; Viginia Austin of Little Rock; Imogene Taylor of Atlanta, Georgia.

He also leaves behind five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren

Funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the Howard Funeral Service Chaple in Leachville with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors Monday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include Tony Squiresm Jeff Hughes, Drew Valdez, Anthony McCarty, Chuck Kisner, and Chuck Kisner Jr.
